Hello All,
Today started early, as we met for Breakfast at 7am (all but 1 day will start this early!)
We went to a school called Barracks Primary School in downtown Montego Bay. We shared our Noah's Ark puppet show with several hundred children up to grade 6. We were warmly received, and Angie finished the program with a challenge about being obedient to the Lord, because he loves us and wants to protect us, just as He did for Noah and his family.
After a lunch by our good friend at "Team Cook" Miss Gloria we went to an Orphanage called Blossom Garden's. We did our puppet show for the some of the 59 children there, and spent nearly two hours playing with them. It was great to see all of the team having fun with the children ~ Swinging, kicking around balls, singing, piggy back rides, and some of the team spent their entire time with a kid "attached" to them one way or another! & Many of the girls enjoyed having their hair "done" by the young ladies at the Orphanage who want to grow up and be hairdressers!
We even squeezed in about an hour swimming in the Ocean.... One youth commented... "Man, it sure is salty!"
And some random postings on our Team Jamaica page on facebook (If you have facebook)
